THE STRATFORD GYM

Our 24-hour gym & wellness center features the latest equipment from Technogym, a private studio for personal training and curated fitness classes such as Pilates, HIIT and Yoga. Or treat yourself to well-being treatments such as a massage and there is always monthly DOGA classes, that's Dog-Yoga if you're wondering.

Please keep in mind that at this moment we don't offer changing, shower or locker facilities.

Pilates

Pilates concentrates on enhancing the body with an emphasis on core strength, this helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Similar to Yoga our customised Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility. Pilates focuses on the mind-body connection, while working with various exercises your mind needs to be constantly aware of your breathing and the way your body moves.

HIIT with Resistance Bands

Created from like-minded people ensuring this workout is as effective and efficient towards your toning, weight loss and strength training goal. Using resistance will ensure your muscles activation and isolation.

Dynamic Flow Yoga

Balance your body and your mind with this Yin Yang class that blends the two styles of yoga into one practice. The class starts with a dynamic flow that works the muscles, improves bold circulation, increases strength and builds stamina. The second half of the class is a slower practise where poses are passively held for longer, working on the deep, dense (Yin) connective tissues and joints in the body. Combining both Yin and Yang elements in one class provides a balanced practice and can have a powerful effect on energy levels. “The practice of Yin/Yang Yoga helps us learn about stillness in movement and the flow in stillness.” Sarah Powers

DOGA

We are excited to welcome DOGA as part of our monthly wellness programme at The Stratford. The class is designed to help support dog owners and their dogs to de-stress through the ancient art of Yoga. DOGA works on the natural bond we have with nature and restores the balance between mind and body with the support and aid of dogs and yoga.
