Night & Day: Autumn Equinox Storytelling & Sound
September 23, 2019 | 7PM – 9PM
This September we welcome back our resident astrologers and modern mystics, She’s Lost Control to celebrate the Autumn Equinox, a day where light and dark are held in perfect balance, the time to say goodbye to one season and welcome in another. Gather around the firepit on the 25th floor Cedar Sky Garden, with actress, writer and space holder Lucy North as she sets the scene with poems and literature excerpts centering on the equinox, offering sacred storytelling on its magical history, ancient rituals and associated feminine archetypes. Reading from her collection of poems, “The Sun and The Moon”, Lucy will explore the equinox’s theme of balance and how we can find and apply these principles in our own lives today.
Following on from this exploration of the Autumn Equinox’s roots and meaning through time, She’s Lost Control’s Jill Urwin will then take us on a sound healing journey where we let go of the old and welcome in the new. Sit back, relax and let the gentle sound of the crystal bowls wash over you as you are gently guided to a place of restful meditation. You will leave perfectly balanced and blissfully chilled out.
